Terrorists in India are a protected species

Ajmal kasab the lone terrorist of the Mumbai blast is leading a cushy life in the prison. He is well protected, well fed and well cared for, for killing top police officers in the country like Hemant Karkarae and the like. Kasab has confessed that he has done every thing but nothing happens to him.

Our legal system is so complicated that Kasab will be acquitted of all the charges and made an Indian citizen since Pakistan has disowned him. Similarly Afsal Guru who attacked the parliament is living a royal life as the guest of the govt. of India. And our P.M has welcomed all the terrorists to India when he had stated that the dialogue will go on irrespective of whether the terrorists are going to attack India are not since no politician dies and only the common man dies.

The only word that the politicians know is ‘I strongly condemn it’. I feel we do not want condemnation from condemned politicians whose main aim is to amass wealth at any cost. This attitude should change. Except us no other country men would betray their country to others.

Do you want to say that we should reject the importance of our legal system and should act like USA in bay of Guantanamo? No, we can't do that. It's true that Ajmal is well fed and well cared and we should do the same with other prisoners too. He should be punished according to the law of land.

Dear Yash,
Ajmal is not like other prisoners. He has killed innocent people in cold blood and he himself confesses that he has done so.Why can’t he be punished immediately? If Ajmal and his ilk are not given signal punishments we will definitely lose more sincere officers like Hemant Karkare

It will reflect the intolerant nature of Indian people. It wouldn't send right signals to the world community. We should never compromise with our principles. Let the judiciary do its work.

No doubt Kasab is a criminal and we should punish him, but only after the proper legal procedure. We are not the Taliban or USA, we are the Indians. We firmly believe that hundred culprits can go scot free but even a single innocent should not be convicted. That's why we should follow the procedures.

The stand taken by our PM on the India-Pakistan dialogue process is against the Indian interests. How can we expect good atmosphere for talks in a situation where our neighbor is engaged in proxy war against us?

It's a testing time for Mr Manmohan Singh at the front of international diplomacy. Pakistan has succeeded in convincing the US and west that India is behind the people creating troubles in Baluchistan. That''s the failure of Indian diplomacy.

Dear Yash,
If we allow the judiciary to do its work especially with a brute like Ajmal it may take atleast 15 years for the judiciary to pronounce its judgement and till that time he can lead a royal life.No wonder India is becoming a safe sanctury for terrorists

Yes that's our failure but we can't make excuses. We can't allow anarchic trends in the society. I think you are indirectly supporting the attacks by shiv Sena activists on the lawyer appointed to plead for Ajmal. You mean to say that we shouldn't have provided even a lawyer to Ajmal. I think announcing the sentence for Ajmal without following the proper norms will be an insult of the Indian democracy and judiciary.

Dear Yash,
Proper norms should be followed in punishing Ajmal, but that should not take too long a time and the spending of tax payers money
